Dive head first into exotic culture, delicious street food, and breathtaking tropical beaches. Trade your snow shovels for flip-flops as you embark on an incredibly unique winter-long adventure through Southeast Asia.

Part 1: Thailand

Starting in Thailand, tour Bangkok’s exotic temples by day and vibrant street food scene by night. Go scuba diving in the world-class Similan Islands before indulging your senses in Phuket’s vibrant night markets. From there, go into chill-down mode and relax on Thailand’s world-famous islands. Relax on the beach and go island hopping through Koh Phi Phi and Krabi. There’s more diving, as well as a sunset booze cruise and a very special private longtail boat tour through Krabi’s Than Bok Khorani National Park.

Part 2: Malaysia and Vietnam

What makes this adventure truly unique is when we split off to spend the second half of the trip traveling solo. Timed to the Chinese New Year, we double team Southeast Asia to experience the decorations and festivities in three countries in as many days. After a night touring Bangkok’s Chinatown, Matt travels to Malaysia to soak in the national holiday in the world’s most fascinating melting pot: Kuala Lumpur. At the same time, Dani heads to Vietnam for the weeklong Tet holiday, full of lanterns, dancing, and celebration.

But there’s so much more to both Malaysia and Vietnam than just the Chinese New Year. After a memorable five days in Kuala Lumpur, chill out and become a beach bum with Matt on the islands of Langkawi and Penang. Can he find the origins of one of our favorite dishes, Penang Curry? But if that pace is too slow, Dani searches out some of the most breathtaking landscapes and scenery in Vietnam, including the beautiful misty mountains of Sapa. End the trip in epic fashion as we reunite back in Krabi for the grand finale.
